DEC TO WEF

February 17-20, 2022

Update: WE HAD A BLAST! And can't wait to do it again next year!

Durham Equestrian is so excited to offer our riders a winter camp in Wellington, FL at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center. Riders will enjoy a first hand and back-door look at the show venue, meet top trainers and riders, watch the best of the best from all over the world compete in Hunter Derbies, Grand Prixs, and more! Riders will enjoy Gabby and Ashley's years of knowledge and experience learning about what all goes into making it to a show of this caliber. We will also enjoy Polo matches, get to watch top dressage competitors, and of course stop by the beach for a quick photo for our cold friends back home in NC! :)

THE CLUB

Situated on 35 acres between UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke, Durham Equestrian Club is a family-friendly show barn with a strong emphasis on community through planned social activities, equestrian outings, and clinics. Offering amenities like a temperature-controlled members lounge, heated wash stall, and lighted arena, DEC is the premier show stable in the area.  Whether you are just learning to ride or you want to join our Show Team, we welcome you to contact us to learn more.

We love Durham Equestrian Club because of its commitment to making the barn a safe and family-focused environment.  It is convenient to Durham Academy and makes after school lessons easy.

Danielle Bishop

The facility is beautiful. The show barn has huge stalls that are nice and airy and the horses are well cared for. Lots of turn out and plenty of room to ride around the farm. All the people and staff are easy to get along with.

Marjorie Pearson

I love the bright, clean barn. The pastures are huge with safe fencing. My mare loves that she gets lots of turnout time with space to run and plenty of grass to graze. I definitely feel like it's a great home for her. Of course, living and working in Durham, the location simply can't be beat.
